Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt Top

I love it when I run across a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt or quilt top.

It's a pattern that became popular in the 1930's.  This one is filled with bright fabrics and pretty patterns.
This fabric came from the quilter's stash, dating from the late 1920's.  This beauty is so fun to look at ... a feast for the eyes.
The next time you run across a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt, take a moment to appreciate the hand piecing and the time involved to make such a treasure.
Blessings, Deborah
